Frequently Asked Questions
How long does no-dig pipe lining last?
When installed correctly, a lined pipe can last over 50 years. It’s designed to be strong, watertight and resistant to chemicals and root intrusion.
Can every pitch fibre pipe be repaired this way?
Not always. If the pipe has fully collapsed or lost its shape, excavation might still be necessary. A CCTV survey is the best way to assess this.
Is it suitable for commercial buildings as well as homes?
Yes. No-dig technology is ideal for car parks, industrial estates, rental properties, schools and domestic homes because it avoids disruption.
Will this fix root damage too?
Yes. Roots are removed during the cleaning process and once the liner is installed, the pipe becomes sealed so roots can’t get back in.
Do I need planning permission for no-dig repairs?
Normally no. Because it’s considered maintenance rather than construction, planning permission is rarely required.
